With over two decades of experience in education and theatre, Marques has dedicated his career to using the arts as a tool for empowerment and advocacy. Beginning his theatrical work in Chicago, IL, he focused on raising awareness of social justice issues before bringing his expertise to the Memphis area. Marques holds a Master of Arts in Education from Union University and has spent over 11 years in the classroom, in addition to seven years in arts administration. He specializes in teaching literacy, communication, and support skills to underserved communities, with a particular focus on neurodiverse and dyslexic learners. Through instruction in reading, acting, and public speaking, he helps students build confidence, improve communication, and develop the skills they need to advocate for themselves.
